I get a lot of questions about where to shop in Sydney. This is why I have decided to create this post and tell you where I like to shop in my city. I hope you find my tips useful!
George Street is the street to go to if you like high-end shopping. The street is full of luxury brands boutiques like Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and others. There are also some nice shops to visit.
Pitt Street Mall
- Paul Smith
- Tiffany & Co
One of the most popular and recognizable shopping precincts in the Sydney, Pitt Street Mall where all the mass market shops are located. Featuring a number of different stores including international retail giants as well as popular stores Seed, Sheik, Country Road, Rodd & Gunn, and Sportsgirl.
It is probably the trendiest place to shop in Sydney and also one of my favorite place to shop.
Pitt Street is always very busy but this is what makes the area special.
Queen Victoria Building
I love to go to the QVB because it is very close to my house and because some of my favorite shops are located here. I love to walk with all its concept stores and beautiful architecture. QVB is filled with a number of high fashion brands and more affordable brands.
- Victoria's Secret
- Country Road
The main shopping center of Pitt Street Mall, Westfield Sydney is home to a number of popular department stores including David Jones and Myer as well as a food court filled with some well-known eateries like Din Tai Fung(my favorite) and more. You can find some nice stores on Westfield (make sure to stop for a coffee and macarons at Via del Corso!)
Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre
- Calvin Klein
- Peter Alexander
- JB HiF
It is one of the only destinations in Sydney where you can shop at over 140 premium outlet brands whilst enjoying the spectacular harbour views. Birkenhead Point is the Sydney's largest factory outlet centre. There are a lot of cozy cafes, and restaurants.
- Tommy Hilfiger
- Calvin Klein
- Polo Ralph Lauren
- Hugo Boss
