If you guys have followed my recent IG stories and posts on my Instagram @radhikatchabbra you must have known that recently we had visited different cities in Queensland, Australia. There are so many memories from our trip, that I don’t know where to start.
I have decided to write 2 blogs about the different cities that we had visited. This first post is about the days that we spent on the Gold Coast and Brisbane in Queensland.
On the first day, we have decided to go to Surfers Paradise to go to the top of the tallest building in Australia – Q1 tower. The view on the city and the ocean from the 77th floor of the building is indescribable. Looking at the endless ocean, it is impossible to believe that the closest land is Chile!
After that, we decided to go for a walk on the ocean front. It was incredible! The ocean with its huge waves looked very powerful and impressive. The view on the city of the Gold Coast from the Beach was amazing and it almost looks like the skyscrapers of Surfers Paradise emerge from the ocean.
The next day we went to Warner Bros. Movie World, the biggest theme park in the Gold Coast. It was so much fun and reminded me of my childhood days. There were so many amazing rides and also on the main street, there were plenty of photo opportunities throughout the day with various Looney Tunes characters as well as your favorite superheroes.
The next morning we went to Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. After having a good Breakfast at Marriot we caught a train to the city center.
The center of Brisbane is full of skyscrapers, shopping centers, banks, etc. During the walk around the city, we visited different places like Anzac Square, City Hall, and South Bank. The best part was the miraculous sunset that we encountered at the South Bank of Brisbane.
Thank you for reading! Stay tuned for my next blog for Cairns, Queensland.
